Pokhara. Taranath Pahari, President of the Pokhara Tourism Council, has urged travelers to visit Pokhara, assuring that the city is as peaceful and beautiful as ever.
“Pokhara has returned to its normal state. All tourism activities are fully operational. The skies of Pokhara are alive with paragliding, ultralight flights, and hot air balloon adventures. Bungy jump, zipline, and other adventure activities are running smoothly. Both short and long trekking routes are open, while hotels and restaurants are providing the same warm hospitality as before. With the tourist season here, everyone is ready to welcome guests,” he said.
At the same time, the Hotel Association Pokhara Nepal has also delivered the message that “Pokhara is safe – come visit Pokhara.” Despite the recent Gen-Z movement, the association assured that Pokhara remains a safe travel destination and that hoteliers and entrepreneurs are fully prepared to host guests.
According to Association President Laxman Subedi, while a handful of establishments faced damages during the protests, the majority of Pokhara’s tourism structures remain intact and operational.
“We have more than 1,200 hotels with 40,000 beds, along with hundreds of restaurants ready to serve visitors. Tourists will not face any problems while traveling to Pokhara,” Subedi stated.
